The Buttock Lifting, or Crural External Dermolipectomy, is the intervention used to reshape the upper-outer thigh region (trochanteric region) and the lower pole of the buttock, through the removal of the adipose tissue and excess skin. The surgery is performed only in the presence of excessive skin laxity as a result of a significant weight loss. Conversely, in the presence of localized fat, it is preferable to perform the Liposuction. The duration of the intervention is about 2 hours and requires one day of hospitalization.
